ITINERARY
07:00 AM, start your day with a pickup from your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City and transfer to Cu Chi. Arrive at Ben Dinh, a system network belonging to Cu Chi tunnels. When you go through the entrance, watch a brief propaganda video, which introduces the Vietnam War and the way the tunnels were utilized to struggle against G.I in the Vietnam war.
Visit the roundings and follow your tour guide to discover the Ben Dinh tunnel. The tour guide will explain to you the life of people who lived under the ground and how they survived and contacted each other. Then, experience it realistically by crawling through the tunnels. Take some rest and have interesting conversations about the war in the past.
10:30 AM transfer to My Tho (Tien Giang province) for a Mekong Boat tour.
13:00 Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
Upon arrival at My Tho City, take a boat to a small canal, which is the place you escape from the busy town. Cruise in the coconut trees canal to a coconut island in Ben Tre. Disembark and have a walk around the village. Stop at a local family to enjoy tropical fruit, taste honey tea, and honey wine, and listen to Vietnamese traditional music, and performances by the villagers.
Continue walking on the village's road to the coconut candy shop, learn how to make candy, and show some handicrafts made by coconut trees. Take a walk through the village with two sides. There are so many kinds of fruits, flowers, trees, local houses, and children in the Mekong delta, take your time to take nice photos and enjoy the natural scenery.
Disembark at My Tho boat station and transfer straight to HCMC city.
Arrive at HCMC around 19:00 - 19:30.
