A unique 2-day tour bringing you many experiences of regional Vietnam. You will join farm activities, stay with a local family, and even discover the magical Ha Long Bay on this agricultural tour.
Day 1: Hanoi - Ninh Binh Farm Trip
7h00 – 7h45: The bus will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter to departure for Trang An Village. Enjoy on route, you will pass fields of busy workers farming their rice fields using traditional methods of cultivation.
10h00: Upon arrival Trang An village, enjoy a cup of tea with the local family and have a short break.
10h30: Biking around the country lanes to see some traditional house on stilts and enjoy the peaceful lifestyle of the local people. This is a great way to interact with the local vietnamese people and exploring the beautiful rural view of the countryside.
Return to the local restaurant for having a lunch and take a short rest before wearing traditional farmer’s clothes to start farming work, including scoop, plough and rake with buffalow on the rice field. You can try riding a water buffalo, cultivate rice and learning more about the farming process of the water rice. Then continue learning the unique experience about the traditional bamboo fishing basket by handle ( It provides you with a cultural window into the ways of life of both our farming and fishing communities of Vietnamese). Finally you will play kayaking among the river during sunset time. That’s great time for you take the beautiful pictures and have fun time together. Proceed to your homestay/ bungalow in Trang An - Ninh Binh. Dinner is served at the local restaurant, afterwards you can enjoy your evening.
Day 2: Trang An – Ninh Binh – Halong Bay
Have breakfast and then check-out of your homestay/bungalow.
7h10: Get on your bus, leave Ninh Binh to Halong harbour.
12h10: Arrive at Halong harbor just before midday, and enjoy a Vietnamese set menu lunch while cruising through the most beautiful Islets on Halong bay such as Dog Islet, Incense burner Islet, and Fighting Cock Islet. Visit Sung Sot Cave (The surprising cave). Then you can take part in optional kayaking or bamboo rowing boat. Or you can relax on the big boat if you prefer to have more free time by yourself.
Next, visit Titop Island. From here, you can trek up to the peak for taking photos with a panoramic view of Ha Long bay. Finally, cruise back to the harbor for the transfer back to Hanoi in the late evening around 20h30 pm.
