Explore the beautiful Mai Chau Valley on a 2-day tour from Hanoi. Cycle through the valley, visit local villages, and enjoy traditional Thai food and entertainment.
Day 1:
Depart from Hanoi and stop at Thung Khe Pass for photos and to enjoy the stunning mountainous landscape of Hoa Binh. Arrive at Ban Lac to have a traditional lunch at a Thai ethnic stilt house. Rest before beginning the tour of Mai Chau with the guide.
Join the Mai Chau Valley exploration program by bicycle, visiting the small and beautiful stilt houses of the Thai people to learn about their unique cultural customs and traditions. Ride through fields and villages. Visit local handicraft stalls to learn how the Thai people weave their textiles.
Enjoy free time to ride bikes on your own, shop, or take photos. Have dinner at a traditional Thai stilt house, enjoying ethnic dishes. Watch and join the Thai people in traditional dance and singing, while drinking "ruou can" (a traditional Thai rice wine).
Day 2:
Enjoy breakfast before continuing the Mai Chau tour. Walk with the guide to explore the villages of Na Meo, Na Mo, and Xam Pa, learning about the traditional culture of the local people. These are beautiful and pristine villages in Mai Chau.
Return to Ban Lac for lunch before saying goodbye to Mai Chau and boarding the vehicle to return to Hanoi.
