Begin the day by arriving at a 40-acre base camp with plenty of parking + restrooms, showers, and a camp store for last minute needs. Then, complete an extensive safety orientation to prepare you for your adventure. You'll be outfitted with a helmet, paddle, personal flotation device (commonly known as "lifejackets") and meet your guide. Board your raft, which will hold between 5 and 8 paddlers plus a tour guide.
 
Once on the river, glide by beautiful scenery and have the chance to see wildlife, ranging from river otters to turtles to deer and more. This afternoon adventure starts slow, allowing you to get into a groove with your crew. Enjoy breathtaking canyon scenery before you embark on exciting Class III rapids in the Gorge, led by your responsible and informative guide.
 
Eleven miles later at the end of your journey, you will find yourself at the Folsom Reservoir. Enjoy the convenience of a pickup be dropped off back at the base camp.
