With more attention, assistance, and flexibility, a one to one "private" body boarding lesson is great for children, less-than-perfect swimmers, those with special needs, and solo travelers.
Jump on the Surf School Bus and we will get you from wherever you're staying in Waikiki to the beach and up and riding! We offer a complimentary courtesy shuttle. Our knowledgeable staff will meet you at one of our convenient hotel pick-up locations. You’ll be stoked to ride in our air-conditioned and clean, easy-to-spot, white shuttle with our logo on the side. After our friendly staff introduce themselves, we will shuttle you to the Ohana Surf Center inside the Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa. You can also choose to meet us at the Ohana Surf Center as we are a convenient walk from many hotels in Waikiki! At the Ohana Surf Center we get you checked in, geared up and then shuttled to the beach.
Once by the ocean, you will meet your instructor and talk about your previous experience, swimming strength or any other concerns or conditions, then we’ll have you walk your high quality lesson boards to the beach. When you’re comfortable and ready, we leash ourselves to the board and into the water we go!
After the lesson, retreat to the shade of our on-site tent to relax, hang with our instructors, or enjoy the perspective of watching the waves you have just been riding! When everyone is ready we head back to the Ohana Surf Center. There you can check out photographs, videos, the work of our cameraman or buy some merch for yourself or friends. Then after your purchases are made, we drive you back to one of our convenient drop off locations, or you can leave straight from there.

-This activity will take place rain or shine
-Our Private bodyboard lessons are for students of all ages and abilities
-All of our written materials are also available in Spanish, Japanese, Korean and Chinese. We will do our best to accommodate, but cannot guarantee, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, or Chinese speaking-instructors without enough advance notice.
-We have 4 set pickup spots in Waikiki and we choose the closest pickup location based on where you are staying in Waikiki.
-Students can choose to meet us directly at our shop located in the Waikiki Beach Marriott.
-If you are staying outside of Waikiki we will have you check-in directly at our shop.
-Please read your confirmation email which will contain the details of your pickup.
