Our exclusive group lesson is great for 3 or more students who are 13 years or older and able to swim. Our ratio of students to instructors is 4-to-1; so 4 students to 1 instructor!
Jump on the Surf School Bus and we will get you from wherever you're staying in Waikiki to the beach and up and riding! We offer a complimentary courtesy shuttle. Our knowledgeable staff will meet you at one of our convenient hotel pick-up locations. You’ll be stoked to ride in our air-conditioned and clean, easy-to-spot, white shuttle with our logo on the side. After our friendly staff introduce themselves, we will shuttle you to the Ohana Surf Center inside the Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa. You can also choose to meet us at the Ohana Surf Center as we are a convenient walk from many hotels in Waikiki! At the Ohana Surf Center we get you checked-in and geared up with some rash guard shirts. Then we'll get you shuttled to the beach.
Once by the ocean, you will meet your instructor and talk about your previous experience, swimming strength or any other concerns or conditions. Finally we walk your high quality lesson boards to the beach. When you’re comfortable and ready, we leash ourselves to the board and into the water we go!
After the lesson, retreat to the shade of our on-site tent to relax, hang with our instructors, or enjoy the perspective of watching the waves you have just been riding! When everyone is ready we head back to the Ohana Surf Center. There you can check out photographs, videos, the work of our cameraman or buy some merch for yourself or friends. Then after your purchases are made, we drive you back to one of our convenient drop off locations, or you can leave straight from there.

-All of our written materials are also available in Spanish, Japanese, Korean and Chinese. We will do our best to accommodate, but cannot guarantee, Japanese, Korean, Spanish or Chinese speaking-instructors without enough advance notice.
Hyatt Regency- Pickup will be on the backside of the Hyatt on Koa Ave by the stairwell and green awning 15 minutes before your lesson start time.
Ilikai Hotel- Please wait at the front entrance of the Ilikai Hotel off of Ala Moana Blvd, wait by the valet and stairwell. Look for our Surf School Bus™ vehicles. Pickup will be 45 minutes before your lesson start time.
Don Ho Lane- Pick up will be from a spot called Don Ho Lane Van Depot (note: this is not Aloha Landing). It is located off of the street called Don Ho Ln in between Royal Hawaiian Ave and Lewers St. Please wait under the Parking structure for the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center. (see photo below) Pickup will be 25 minutes before your lesson start time.
Ambassador Hotel- Please wait at the front entrance of the Ambassador Hotel on Namahana St. Pickup will be 35 minutes before your lesson start time.
