Itinerary:

Day 1:
Arrival and Transfer to Kampala
Upon arrival, you will be met by your guide at Entebbe Airport who will transfer you to Kampala for your overnight stay. Depending on the traffic situation of the day, you may pass through the city center for a brief city tour (not included in the cost and optional) before proceeding to your overnight accommodation property. Drive time: Approximately 1 hour

Day 2:
Transfer to Jinja.
After breakfast, you will drive to the Eastern town of Jinja for your magnificent Uganda adventure experience. This journey will take you through Mabira forest, a tropical rainforest in central Uganda. You will also see lush tea and sugarcane plantations plus several roadside markets, arriving at Kalagala Falls in time for your full or half day white water rafting adventure on the River Nile. You will then return to Kampala arriving in the evening.

Day 3
Drive to Bwindi impenetrable national park
Our guide/driver picks you at 7:00 a.m. from your hotel. Drive to Mbarara (283km from Kampala) via Masaka. Make the first stopover at the Equator crossing for snacks and photography. Lunch break is made at Agip Motel Mbarara. After lunch, drive to Bwindi. This is the lushest highland rain forest on earth, filled with primates and exotic birds, valleys, hilltops and papyrus swamps. The afternoon is spent on an optional foot safari around the local communities living around the park. (Approximately 8-9 hours’ drive).

Day 4
Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi impenetrable national park
Begin the day with breakfast ready for trekking, which begins at 7:30 a.m. with a briefing. Ensure to carry along with you a rain jacket, drinking water, snacks, jungle boots, etc. The guides will lead you inside the jungle to see the shy Primates for a group you have been booked for. Do not forget to take your lunch boxes and all the necessary gear to track the rare Mountain Gorilla, perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. The tracking may take between 2 to 10 hours but it's well worth the effort.

Day 5
Day 3 Return to Kampala, then Entebbe
Return to Kampala, then Entebbe, with lunch en route and stop over at Equator Uganda before your evening departures home (Approximately 8-9 hours’ drive).
