Day 2
For those who opt-in, the day starts early with a breathtaking hot air balloon ride over Cappadocia's lunar landscape (optional). This once-in-a-lifetime experience offers unrivaled panoramic views and is the perfect way to appreciate the region's unique topography.
Morning: After the balloon ride, or starting your day at a leisurely pace, take a 2km walk through Cavusin Village. Enjoy the picturesque scenery of the Red Valley as you tread along paths rich with history and natural beauty.
Midday: Visit Özkonak Underground City, where you can explore four of the eight accessible levels that once provided refuge for up to 5000 people during wartime. We pick you up from your accommodation in Istanbul and transfer you to the airport. There is no assistant at the airport, you must proceed yourself to the check-in desk of the airline listed on your ticket. In Cappadocia, we will meet you at the exit of the airport with a sign with your name. The process will be the same on the way back.
Upon arrival at the destination airport, a driver will be waiting for you, holding a sign displaying your name.
You are allowed 15 kg of checked luggage and an additional 3 kg of carry-on baggage.
Hot air balloon flights require ideal weather conditions and may be canceled at any time by the Civil Aviation Authority.
Should your balloon flight be canceled due to weather, a full refund will be provided if you booked your ticket.
