From Istanbul: 2-Day Cappadocia Highlights Tour by Plane

Start your 2-day trip with a flight from Istanbul to Cappadocia. Visit Cappadocia's historical sites, including Devrent Valley, Göreme Open Air Museum, Orthisar Castle, and more with a tour guide.
We will pick you up from your hotel in Istanbul and transfer you to the airport for your Cappadocia flight. When you arrive in Cappadocia, you will stay in the magnificent stone room we have reserved for you. And we will pick you up from your hotel for Tours. Everything is included.

Start the first day by visiting Devrent Valley, also known as 'Dream Valley', it is the most surreal looking landscape in the world. Your next stop will be Paşabağı, also called the Valley of the Priests.

Proceed to Avanos, the pottery center of Cappadocia, this village is located on the banks of the Kızılırmak River. You will have lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to Göreme Open Air Museum. The world's most important Byzantine cave churches are located in these remote valleys, where monks and nuns once lived a monastic life from the 3rd century onwards. Here you can see the best-preserved Byzantine cave murals and frescoes from the Iconoclastic period to the end of Seljuk rule.

Afterwards, you will admire the magnificent view of Göreme, you can see fairy chimneys, rock formations and cave houses.
You also have the option of booking a hot air balloon flight before sunrise for the next morning. While your guides are completing the final preparations for your flight, breakfast is served to you. Your pilot will show you all the unique beauties of Cappadocia, from the Red Valley to Göreme. While witnessing a magnificent sunrise in the air, you will see excellent panoramic views of Ürgüp, Göreme, Ortahisar, Uçhisar, Avanos and Nevşehir. After landing, a celebration with refreshing drinks (non-alcoholic) will be waiting for you.

On the blue tour, you walk through the Red and Rose Valleys, the most breathtaking and mysteriously beautiful valleys of the region. End your walk at Çavuşin Cave Village. Marvel at the rock fortress and primitive human dwellings where people lived until the 20th century. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

Descend towards the center of the world with a trip to Kaymaklı Underground City, one of the largest and deepest of Cappadocia's many settlements. Explore this underground city and its stables, cellars, storage rooms, refectories, churches and wineries.

Visit Pigeon Valley. See magnificent views of dovecotes (pigeon or dove houses), old abandoned cave houses, ancient Greek houses of Uçhisar and Orthisar Castle, as well as the largest mass of fairy chimneys in Cappadocia.

After everything is over, we will transfer you to the airport where it all started for your Istanbul flight.
