Krabi: Kayaking Tour to Ao Thueak Lagoon with LunchMeeting Point at Railay Beach

Kayak through a maze of mangroves to the Ao Thueak Lagoon and Bat Cave. Enjoy a Thai lunch and cool off in a freshwater stream.
Get picked up by a local Thai-style truck and enjoy a scenic drive through rural villages to the rugged coastline of Ao Luk Noi in the north of Krabi. Meet the lovely crew at Wang Toh Tao Pier near Nai Nang village, where you will undergo a short health check-up.

Start kayaking into the bay of Khao Garos, together with your knowledgeable local guide. Enter a maze of mangroves surrounded by natural waterways that are connected to the Andaman Sea. Scores of steep, bizarrely shaped rock formations stick out from the mangrove forests, adding to the dramatic scenery. 

Enter small passages and follow the course of the river until you reach the secret lagoon of Ao Thueak, where you can take a refreshing dip in the calm cool water. You will also visit the natural attraction known as the ‘Bat Cave’, a sea cave that was formed by erosion by the sea. 

Return back to the pier and enjoy a typical Thai style lunch in Baan Rai Nai Suan. Then it is time to cool off in the mangrove forest of Tha Pom Klong Song Nam, where you can walk on a nature trail along the freshwater stream. A wooden walkway will lead you through the crystal clear water in the mangrove forest to a perfect spot for taking some photos. The driver will then bring you back to your hotel.
