Join us for an unforgettable 7-day trek on the Lemosho Route, renowned for its stunning scenery and diverse landscapes. Start with a pickup in Moshi and a transfer to the Lemosho Gate. Trek through lush rainforests to Big Tree Camp, then ascend through heathland to Shira 1 Camp. Conquer Lava Tower and descend to Barranco Camp, navigate the Barranco Wall, and traverse the Karanga Valley. Reach Barafu Camp to prepare for the summit push, and at midnight, ascend to Uhuru Peak for sunrise. Descend to Mweka Camp and finally to Mweka Gate to celebrate your achievement and receive your certificate. Enjoy all meals, experienced guides, and porters throughout your journey. Transfer back to Moshi and the airport to conclude your adventure.
The Best 7 Days Lemosho Route Group Hiking on Kilimanjaro Itinerary
Day 0: Arrival in Moshi
Arrive in Moshi and transfer to your hotel, where you'll relax and prepare for your 7-day Kilimanjaro adventure.
Day 1: Lemosho Gate to Big Tree Camp (2,780m)
Drive to Lemosho Gate and begin your trek through lush rainforest. Spot wildlife like blue and colobus monkeys as you hike to Big Tree Camp.
Distance: 7 km (4.3 miles)
Hiking Time: 3-4 hours
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Day 2: Big Tree Camp to Shira 1 Camp (3,500m)
Continue through the rainforest to the Shira Plateau, passing heathland and moorland with views of Kibo and the Western Breach. Stay overnight at Shira 1 Camp.

Hiking Time: 5-6 hours

Day 3: Shira 2 Camp to Barranco Camp (3,960m)
Hike across Lava Tower and descend to Barranco Camp. Enjoy challenging sections and panoramic views of the landscape.

Day 4: Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp (3,960m)

Day 5: Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp (4,680m)
Ascend to Barafu Camp, your last stop before the summit. Prepare for the summit push and enjoy the Alpine Desert landscape.

Day 6: Barafu Camp to Uhuru Peak (5,895m) to Mweka Camp (3,100m)
Start your summit attempt at midnight. Reach Uhuru Peak to witness the sunrise over Africa, then descend to Mweka Camp.

Hiking Time: 12-16 hours

Day 7: Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate (1,630m)
Hike through the rainforest to Mweka Gate, receive your completion certificate, and transfer back to Moshi for a hot shower and celebration.
