Begin your adventure with a short drive from Moshi to the Machame Gate. After registration and payment, start your trek through the magnificent mountain rainforest. Hear and with a little luck, even spot the beautiful black and white colobus monkeys in the treetops.
After 5 to 6 hours, reach Machame Camp, which is situated just above the tree line. Here, at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro, enjoy a well-earned rest before exploring the area with your guide.
After lunch, hike back to the park gate and drive back to Moshi.
