Day 1: Arrival in Moshi
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to your hotel in Moshi.
Meet your climbing team for a briefing and equipment check.

Day 2: Moshi to Londorossi Gate, to Mti Mkubwa Camp
Drive to Londorossi Gate for park entry procedures and meet your guides and porters.
Begin hiking through lush rainforest to Mti Mkubwa (Big Tree) Camp.

Day 3: Mti Mkubwa Camp to Shira 1 Camp
Ascend through the rainforest and transition into heath and moorland.
Reach Shira 1 Camp located on the Shira Plateau.

Day 4: Shira 1 Camp to Shira 2 Camp

Day 5: Shira 2 Camp to Moir Hut

Day 6: Moir Hut to Pofu Camp

Day 7: Pofu Camp to Third Cave Camp

Day 9: School Hut to Uhuru Peak, then descent to Mweka Camp
Begin the summit attempt in the early hours of the morning.
Reach the summit of Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa.
Descend to Mweka Camp for overnight.
Distance: 21 km (13.1 miles) ascent, 12 km (7.5 miles) descent
Hiking Time: 12-15 hours ascent, 4-6 hours descent
Habitat: Arctic to Rainforest
Day 10: Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate, then transfer to Moshi
Descend through the lush rainforest to Mweka Gate.
Receive summit certificates and bid farewell to your climbing team.
Transfer back to Moshi for a well-deserved rest and celebration.
