5-DAY SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK TO NGORONGORO CRATER

DAY 1: Arusha to Serengeti National Park
Your adventure begins with an early morning departure from Arusha, driving through the stunning landscapes of the Great Rift Valley and passing by Lake Manyara and the Ngorongoro Highlands en route to Serengeti National Park. After a scenic drive, you’ll enter the vast Serengeti, known for its sweeping plains and diverse wildlife. Upon arrival, you’ll enjoy a picnic lunch before heading out on an afternoon game drive. The Serengeti is home to the famous "Big Five" – lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, and rhinos – as well as cheetahs, zebras, and large herds of wildebeest.

DAY 2: Full Day in Serengeti National Park
Today is dedicated to exploring the incredible Serengeti ecosystem. You’ll embark on morning and afternoon game drives, where you’ll witness the abundant wildlife and dramatic landscapes that the park is famous for. Depending on the time of year, you may also witness the Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest and zebras move in search of fresh grazing. Your guide will take you to different parts of the park, including the Seronera Valley, known for frequent sightings of leopards, and the endless savannah where lions and hyenas hunt. After a full day of wildlife viewing, you’ll return to your accommodation for dinner and a relaxing evening.

DAY 3: Serengeti National Park – Central to Southern Region
On this day, you’ll explore the southern part of the Serengeti, known for its vast plains and high predator activity. After breakfast, you’ll set off on another thrilling game drive, focusing on areas that are rich in wildlife. The southern Serengeti is particularly famous for cheetahs and lions, and during the migration season, it's a calving ground for wildebeest.

DAY 4: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After a final early morning game drive in the Serengeti, you’ll begin your journey towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive takes you across the Serengeti plains and into the rolling hills of the Ngorongoro Highlands. By late afternoon, you’ll reach the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, offering breathtaking views of the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. After settling into your lodge or camp on the crater rim, you’ll enjoy dinner and prepare for the next day’s exploration of this unique landscape.

DAY 5: Ngorongoro Crater Tour & Return to Arusha
The final day of your safari begins with an early descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site teeming with wildlife. The crater is a haven for a variety of animals, including elephants, lions, black rhinos, and numerous bird species. After a picnic lunch by the lake, you’ll continue your game drive, searching for more wildlife before ascending the crater rim and heading back to Arusha.
