Experience the thrill of whale watching in Mirissa off the southern coast of Sri Lanka on a morning cruise. See blue whales, sperm whales, and dolphins as you hear about them from your guide.
After pick-up from your hotel in Tangalle/Hiriketiya/Thalalla/Matara area, get the opportunity to see the world's biggest mammals in their natural habitat on this 3-5 hours tour. Meet your guide at Mirissa Pier in the morning and head out to sea.
During this tour, you will have the opportunity to see blue whales, sperm whales, fin whales, occasional orcas, and many types of dolphins. As you approach the whales, the boat will slow down for optimal viewing. You will stop at a safe distance of at least 300 feet away, with your closest approach being at 100 feet, allowing you to watch the whales responsibly with minimal environmental impact.
A complimentary breakfast of sandwiches and fruits will be served on board, along with water and tea or coffee. Knowledgeable guides are on board to answer any questions you may have and help you spot these wonderful creatures.
