Enjoy a train ride through misty hills, passing tea plantations, tunnels, and waterfalls to visit a colonial monastery in Adisham, an ancient village in the Kent countryside. Take in lunch at a tea plantation and relax with hotel pick up and drop off.
Start your day at 8:30 AM with pick up from your hotel by your local guide. Make your way to Ella Railway Station in a TukTuk and, based on the train schedule, catch your train between 9 AM - 9:30 AM. Admire the beautiful countryside as you pass by mountains, waterfalls, tea plantations, and small villages until you reach Haputale Railway Station.
Start the walk to the Adhisam Bungalow, as you pass tea plantations, jungles, and villages selling strawberries. Visit Adhisham Bungalow, a monastery run by Benedictine monks and built by Sir Thomas Lister Villers, who was born in 1869 in Adisham, an ancient village which lies in the Kent countryside.
Next, enjoy lunch at a tea plantation and then catch your train, before being dropped off at your hotel at 5 PM.
