Discover the highlights of Sri Lanka on an 11-day tour from Colombo. The tour includes entire ground transportation, 2 meals a day, accommodation, and a local guide. Visit the Udawalawe Elephant Transit Camp, go on a safari in Yala National Park, and take a scenic train ride from Ella to Nanu Oya.
Day 1 : Colombo - Galle
Arrive in Colombo and meet your guide. Transfer to your hotel in the south coast and check in. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.
Day 2-6 : Galle
Unwind yourself in the beach resort. No activities are planned during the beach holiday. However, we can plan a few activities like boat tours, surfing, snorkelling, and villlage tours as per your request.
Day 7: Galle-Yala
After breakfast, drive to your hotel in Yala. On the way, visit the Udawalawe Elephant Transit Camp. In the afternoon, go on a safari in Udawalawe National Park. Check in to your hotel and relax.
Day 8: Yala-Ella
Go on an early morning safari in Yala National Park. In the afternoon, continue your journey to Ella. Check in to your hotel and relax.
Day 9: Ella-Nuwara Eliya-Kandy
Drive to Ella railway station and board the hill country blue train from Ella to Nanu Oya. The scenic train ride lasts about 2 hours. Later, drive to your hotel in Kandy. On the way, stop for a sightseeing tour of Nuwara Eliya and visit a tea factory.
Day 10: Kandy - Polonnaruwa-Sigiriya
After breakfast, leave for Polonnaruwa and Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Check in to your hotel and relax.
Day 11: Sigiriya - Colombo
After breakfast, visit dambulla golden temple and then leave for your hotel in Colombo. On the way, stop at a spice or herbal garden. Check in to your hotel and relax.
