Colombo - Mirissa
08:00: Arrive at the Bandaranaike International Airport where you will be welcomed by your very own chauffeur guide and begin the journey to Mirissa - one of the island’s world-class beaches.
11:00: Arrive Mirissa and check-into the hotel.
16:00: Evening move on to witness stilt fishing in Mirissa. Stilt Fishing is not the ordinary fishing, there might be several methods of catching a fish but this one is mind-boggling.
18:00: Move back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel.
2 Day
Mirissa - Mirissa
07:00: Leave your hotel and proceed to Mirissa fishery harbour to proceed with an exciting deep-sea fishing tour with Beyond Escapes boat crew.
07:30: Start your fishing tour. You will have the experience of fishing for about 4 hours in the deep sea. When finished the tour, arrive back in the harbor and proceed with your guide to a beach hut where you will be able to enjoy BBQ lunch with chilled beer.
Move back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel.
3 Day
Mirissa - Bentota
07:00: After delicious breakfast at the hotel, check-out and move to your next fishing destination
08:30: Arrive Bentota. Go ahead with a fishing tour in Balapitiya river.
12:00: Arrive to a restaurant by the river and enjoy an excellent sea food lunch with chilled beer.
13:30: Drive to your hotel in Bentota and check-in. Spend some time at leisure. 15:00: Embark on a countryside cycling excursion discovering everything from idyllic beaches to picturesque paddy fields.
18:00: When finished the cycling expedition, move back to the hotel. Dinner and Overnight stay at a hotel.
4 Day
Bentota - Negombo
07:00: After a good night’s sleep and early breakfast at the hotel, you will be moved to Negombo – the final destination where you will experience fishing. 09:00: Arrive at the buzzing local fish market in Negombo and buy your favorite fresh fish items to cook for your lunch in addition to the seafood we provide during the trip.
10:30: Start your fishing expedition in Negombo lagoon.
12:30: Stop on an island in the lagoon where you will participate in live cooking of your lunch. Don’t forget to add best catch of your day and what you bought from the fish market when you prepare your lunch with the guide.
15:00: Following lunch, take a Catamaran ride along the charming lagoon area whilst listening to the stories behind that from your guide.
17:00: When finished the lagoon fishing trip, you will be driven to the hotel where you stay overnight.
Dinner and Overnight stay at a hotel.
5 Day
Negombo - Katunayake
Now having experienced the deep sea and inland fishing methods of Sri Lanka to the fullest, it’s time to say goodbye! Your chauffeur guide from Beyond Escapes Travels will be transferred to you to the Bandaranaike International Airport for your flight back home having unforgettable fishing expeditions memories!
