Enjoy a guided tour in Pulpí:
Discover the thrilling world of the olive groves, and learn the Extra Virgin Olive Oil production process and storage by visiting OleoAlmanzora facilities (tasting room, cellar and bottling room).
The visit would start by visiting one of our olive groves, where visitors can learn about the origin of olive trees and the keys for planting and care.
Back to OleoAlmanzora facilities, visitors would be able to explore our Extra Virgin Olive Oil cellar, tasting room, and bottling room to discover the production, storage and packaging process.
At the end of the tour, through a degustation you can savor the highest quality Extra Virgin Olive Oiland also taste our olive oils flavored with garlic, lemon, rosemary, black truffle, chili and smoked.
The visit would end in our exclusive gourmet shop where guests can adquire any of the tasted products and gourmet products (wine, beer, honey, etc.) of Almería.
This experience encompasses admission to the guided tour of the Giant Geode of Pulpí in Pilar de Jaravía, the pinnacle attraction. It stands as the largest geode in the world. Explore the depths of the Mina Rica and unveil this natural marvel of Pulpí through the assistance of OleoAlmanzora.
The itinerary is designed to let you enjoy a full day in Pulpí, maximizing your time in the area. Organized by OleoAlmanzora, this independent tour includes various guided visits with different guides at each stop. You will explore the itinerary on your own and use your own transportation. 12:00 - San Juan de los Terreros Castle

Within OleoAlmanzora tour all visitors need to inform about any special walking conditions and food allergies or special conditions to adapt our tours and experiences well in advance.
The Giant Geode of Pulpí visit:
Duration: 90 minutes.
There are several flight of stairs, totaling 164 steps. Among these, one stretch comprises a 15-meter spiral staircase, while the rest consist of multiple stretches of standard stairs.
Giant Geode view: Visitors would observe the Geode through the entrance opening, by inserting their upper body, but not fully entering/accessing the geode.
For individuals with reduced mobility, there is an elevator parallel to the spiral staircase that covers the fifteen-meter span. However, there are still 80 steps to climb and descend.
For pregnant women in their last trimester, it is not recommended to descend beyond the third level of the mine where the Giant Geode can by observed.
