Welcome to vibrant Soweto. Should your hotel be in Rosebank (highly recommended) or the Parks, we drive past the impressive FNB Stadium, built for the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

We start the day with an introduction on the culture, greetings, languages etc. giving you a better understanding of this unique place. We revisit the story of the Soweto Student Uprisals, told by a local. We visit the fascinating cultural village where you can learn more about the cultural beliefs of the locals. Tracing the footsteps of Nelson Mandela by visiting his home here in Soweto. Vilakazi street comes to life with the traditional dancers - definitely authentic and not a tourist trap - and a traditional lunch. The highlight is visiting the oldest community in Soweto, and see the projects that Eenblond Tours run and support here. You'll meet the kids, the youth, their parents and the elders. Note that we do not support poverty tourism and the handing out of sweets to the kids.

We do not like running our tours strictly by the clock, and enjoy getting to know our clients through the day, and adapt tours to their needs.
