Discover the history and culture of Johannesburg (Also known as the City of Gold), on a full-day tour.
We start off at the Constitution Hill where you will be taken through the former prison cells for apartheid prisoners and the Constitution court. We then drive through Braamfontein, Nelson Mandela bridge, mining town, Ghandi Square as we go to the Maboneng Precinct.
We then make our way to the Apartheid Museum and learn about the history of apartheid and the struggle for freedom in South Africa.
We then continue to SOWETO for our township visit and historic experience with our locals.We stop at the Hector Peterson Memorial, which commemorates the 1976 Soweto Uprising. Then, visit the Mandela House Museum to learn about the life of of our late Icon Nelson Mandela.
We then head to an Informal settlement where we meet greet and even walk the dusty streets with our locals.
We conclude our Tour by enjoying a buffet African lunch at the Famous Sakhumzi Resturant.
At the end of the tour, you will have a clear understanding of the rich history, diverse cultures, and delicious African food of Johannesburg.
