A hike to the Tamanique Waterfalls is one of the best ways you can immerse yourself in the abundant beauty of El Salvador. Following the moderate hike through the tropical dry forest, you’ll have a chance to go for a refreshing swim in the cool waters of a natural pool created by two waterfalls cascading over the rock face of a surrounding canyon. You will walk about 5 miles on the natural, nonpaved surface.
Be sure to bring your bathing suit or wear it under your clothes so you can swim. Wear hiking boots or running shoes and lightweight clothing. After your guide will take you to El Tunco beach, a popular village oceanfront with plenty of options for lunch. Depart at 730am, Return 2 pm
