Day 1: Kigali – Drive to Lake Kivu (Gisenyi Town)

After breakfast, depart Kigali for a scenic 3-hour drive to Lake Kivu, a freshwater lake, to the bustling town of Gisenyi located in northwest Rwanda in the Rubavu district. Check into your accommodation along scenic Lake Kivu.

Day 2: Full Day In Lake Kivu

After breakfast, step out of the lodge and engage in a range of activities. Lake Kivu waters have waves that support water sports activities like windsurfing, kayaking, speed boat rides, and sport fishing. Swim, hike, and bike along the shore. In the evening, visit a few attractions in the nearby towns of Kibuye and Gisenyi. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Lake Kivu – (Gisenyi Town) Drive to Kigali

Spend your whole day relaxing at the beach and in the afternoon transfer back to the city Kigali, drop off at your hotel or airport for your flight in case it is scheduled.
