An early morning wake up with packed breakfast & Lunch, Your driver guide meets you at your hotel at 04:30am ready to hit the road heading to Volcanoes National Park a head of your gorilla trekking trip. Leaving the lively capital, drive north-west through lush hills & bustling market towns for 2.5 - 3 hours, to the stunning Volcanoes NP—well known as the venue for Dian Fossey's pioneering studies of the mountain gorillas. Drive straight to the park headquarters for a briefing on the does and don’ts while in presence of gorillas and then hike up into the rainforest to a troop of magnificent mountain gorillas. Gorilla Trekking can be 2 - 10 hours depending on how long it takes you walking to find them, once you find them you usually have an hour with them, time to sit & observe them at very close quarters. The day's experience of time allowed will be followed with a visit to a an hour Visit to the Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund before going back to for 2.5 - 3 hours to Kigali marking an end of your the one day Rwanda Gorilla Tracking Volcanoes National Park trip.
