Spend 2 days discovering the wonderful Danube Delta. In addition to experiencing this UNESCO World Heritage Site, you’ll visit the ancient port city of Tulcea and the old Roman territory Constanta. Enjoy a boating trip to fish or watch the bird life.
This 2-day tour provides you with the opportunity to discover the natural wonders of the Danube Delta. This is the 2nd-largest river delta in Europe and is comprised largely of wetlands and water, and intricate patterns of channels, marshes, small streams, and lakes.
The Danube Delta is listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. It is home to more than 300 species of birds and 45 species of fresh-water fish that inhabit its numerous lakes and marshes.
You’ll have the chance to visit Tulcea, the ancient port city located on the Danube Delta, and enjoy a boating trip for bird watching or fishing. The city of Tulcea spreads over 7 hills and has been an important harbor since its founding in the 7th century B.C. It was later conquered by the Romans and rebuilt in their style.
You’ll spend 1 night at a Danube Delta hotel or guest house.
