We'll meet in the main square of the old town and walk towards the Black and White Towers. There you'll have a great overview over the former fortified city! (Tip: great photo spots!)
The 17th century map provides a clear picture of the medieval city of Brasov. You'll quickly understand how the society was organized and how they were able to efficiently defend against the Ottomans.
This walking tour of Brasov includes a visit to the Black Church (protestant - entry tickets are paid separately if you want to visit it from the inside too), the church of St. Nicholas (Romanian greek-orthodox - free entry)!
We'll also see first Romanian school, the last medieval gate of the city (Catherine's Gate), the Weaver's Bastion, The Rope Street (narrowest street in Romania).
We will walk along the old walls and return to the main square were we will conclude our tour.
