Enjoy a day trip from Punta Cana to Samaná Bay to see humpback whales in their natural habitat. Swim in the crystal-clear waters of Bacardi Island.
Experience the unique event of Humpback Whale Watching in the Dominican Republic. Depart from your hotel and travel to the town of Las Cañitas, where you will board a boat that will take you to the sanctuary of the Humpback or Yubarta whales.

On the way, pass through the Eastern Plain, among green landscapes with large grasslands and small towns, between the mountains and the sea. Arrive at the Las Cañitas Pier to board the boat that will take you to the Humpback Whale Sanctuary.

Enjoy a journey through the sea of around 2.5 hours, and see the whales swimming, sometimes even jumping and seeing their babies. Once the sighting is over, head to Cayo Levantado also know as Bacardi Island, where you have lunch and beach time.

Enjoy a buffet-style lunch of typical Dominican food. Then, take a refreshing swim on the beautiful white sand beach.

Visit Caño Frio to take a refreshing dip. This is a small stream that comes out of the mountains and flows into the beach itself, with cold, crystalline waters, bordered by mangroves, to enjoy a refreshing swim.
