Embark on a breathtaking journey to Saona Island, a tropical gem in the Dominican Republic's national park system, Parque de Cotubanama. This idyllic island, located just an hour's boat ride from Bayahibe, offers a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure.
Your excursion begins with a convenient pickup from Punta Cana, followed by a 50-minute drive to the ship. Dive into your first adventure at the Atlantic Princess wreck, where a snorkeling experience reveals the vibrant marine life beneath the waves. Refreshments will be served as we sail towards the Peñon Reef, a paradise for underwater explorers, teeming with turtles and rays.
Upon arrival at Saona Island, divers and non-divers alike will find pleasure in the island's offerings. While divers enjoy their second dive, others can soak up the sun, snorkel at the old pier, indulge in souvenir shopping, or unwind with a beachside massage.
A buffet lunch on the island provides a perfect time to regroup and share stories.
The journey continues to Starfish Cay, a shallow sandbar where the crystal-clear water invites you to relax with music and drinks before we head back. Your air-conditioned vehicle awaits to return you to your hotel by approximately 5 pm.

Must be a certified scuba diver to participate in scuba diving and must book this before arrival. Proof of certification (valid dive card) is Mandatory. Only certified divers will be allowed to dive. Option to participate in Discover Scuba exists but must be booked ahead of time and additional fee would apply. Must notify us with details on how many in the group will scuba dive and how many will snorkel before arrival.
For some hotels we will pick up at the lobby. For this you must send your hotel room number upon arrival. For other hotels you will need to make your way to the main gate of the hotel. Each hotel is different. You will need to contact us upon arrival in the Dominican Republic in order to coordinate your pick up details.
