Come and see the cities famous landmarks with us!
• 3 Graces – Liverpool’s waterfront: See the iconic ‘3 Graces’ that adorn Liverpool’s historic waterfront. The Port of Liverpool Building, the Cunard Building, and of course, the Royal Liver Building. Look at the stunning architecture & learn about the buildings’ history and their cultural significance to the city, along with a view of the waterfront (we may get to see the Mersey Ferry!) and the Beatles statue.
• Hope St – Learn about one of Liverpool’s most historic and famous streets; We will visit both of the incredible Cathedrals, along with a quick stop at Liverpool’s most famous pub, the Philharmonic Dining Halls (and check out their Grade I listed toilets!).
• Everton Brow – See the cities famous skyline from the best vantage point in the city!
• LFC & EFC stadiums. Take a look at these historic grounds and learn all about the rivalry. Get your picture taken with the statue of Dixie Dean at Goodison, and the Shankly Gates at Anfield (including 15-minute optional stop for at Official LFC store).
• LFC wall murals – See some of the incredible wall art around Anfield of LFC legends. Learn about how they were made, the story behind each piece, why it was commissioned and the background on the artists themselves. .
• Penny Lane – A must see for any Beatles and music fans! Drive down Penny Lane and see the shops that were the inspiration for the famous song. Learn about what it was like to grow up around the area.
• Strawberry Fields: immortalised by John Lennon in The Beatles hit, ‘Strawberry Fields Forever’, Get your picture taken outside the historic red gates! The Salvation Army ran site has beautiful grounds to see, a bandstand for live events and a lovely café & giftshop (coffee break included).
• Mendips & Forthlin road: Childhood homes of John Lennon & Paul McCartney. See where the Beatles grew up! Take a look at these National Trust sites. 30 minutes.
