See the hidden treasures near Setúbal and Palmela on this tour through the south of Portugal. Ride through cork oaks and pines to the natural preserve along the river Sado, where you can admire a tide mill. A tide mill is a water mill driven by tidal rise and fall. Keep an eye out for storks, flamingoes, and wild ducks.
Enjoy lunch in one of the many restaurants in Setúbal. Try the fantastic fish specialties, taken directly from the waters of Setúbal. Don't miss out on the Livramento market, which will enchant you with its tiled scenes of fishing voyages and a large selection of food, from fish to fruit.
