From Lisbon: Arrabida Private Full-Day Wine Excursion

With its microclimate, Mediterranean landscape and its highest point at 503 meters, the mountain range of Arrábida, provides to the nature lovers, not only challenging hikes as well as breathtaking views.
This is a full-day tour that takes you on a journey through the scenic countryside and coastline of Portugal, starting with a pick-up from your hotel in Lisbon. You'll first drive south to Palmela and pass by the longest bridge in Europe, the Vasco da Gama Bridge. Once you reach Palmela, you'll visit the 12th century Palmela Castle situated on the highest hill, where you'll be able to take in the stunning views of the surrounding lands and sea.

Next, you'll drive to the Arrábida Natural Park, where you'll get to enjoy breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean from the heights of the park. Here, you'll have the opportunity to take some spectacular photos from the highest point of the park, which is 500m above sea level.

After this, you'll descend to the fisherman village of Sesimbra, where you'll have free time for a traditional Portuguese lunch. You'll also have the opportunity to feel the sand of the Sesimbra beach.

Next, you'll visit a wine cellar that has been producing wines since 1834. You'll get to know the essence of a wine-making family with almost 200 years of history and experience an unparalleled wine and gastronomic tasting experience. The wine degustation is included in the price.

Finally, you'll arrive at the statue of Christ the King (Cristo-Rei) to see the view of Lisbon from a different angle. You'll then return to Lisbon, crossing the 25 April Bridge, where you'll get to enjoy the great view over the city.
