IN DETAIL:
Chachapoyas, in the Amazonas region of Peru, is a historic city with colonial architecture and cobblestone streets, surrounded by mountains and forests. It has a temperate climate, offers a quiet and culturally rich environment.
ITINERARY:
- We will start our excursion with pick up from the hotel near the Chachapoyas Main Square at 7:00 am.
- We will go to the town of San Bartolo, from where we will begin a walk to the Mausoleums of Revash, where we will observe rectangular constructions and funeral houses, among others.
- Afterwards, we will go to Leymebamba to enjoy a delicious lunch. Then, we will visit the Mallqui Center Museum, where we will discover valuable objects, mummies and a collection of quipus recovered from the mausoleums of the Lake of the Condors.
- We will return to the city of Chachapoyas, with estimated arrival at 6:00 pm.
