From Puno || exploring La Paz and Tiwanaku || full Day

La Paz captivates with its spectacular altitude and unique blend of tradition and modernity. Explore its beautiful streets, enjoy its rich culture and admire the imposing peaks of the Andes that surround this unique city.

Itinerary:
-The adventure begins with pick up from your hotel at approximately 4:00 am. From here we will start our journey to the border of Peru - Bolivia, located in Desaguadero, here we will enter Bolivia.

-After 4 hours we will arrive to the place, we will have a guided tour of the colonial quarter, 16 de Julio Avenue and Mariscal Gamarra Avenue. Then we will go to the historical centre, where we will see the Neoclassical Cathedral of Nuestra Señora de la Paz next to the Murillo square. You can have lunch on your own.

-Then we will go to the Santo Domingo Convent and the Witches Market. Finishing in La Paz, we will take the bus to the archaeological site of Tiwanaku, where one of the most important pre-Columbian cultures of Bolivia developed.

-We will visit and delve into its secrets: the temple of Kalasasaya, the pyramid of Akapana and the Sun Gate. We will also have the opportunity to admire the queros or ceremonial vessels, as well as its walls decorated with figures of human faces called huaco-portraits.

-At the end of the tour, you will have an overview of the cultural and patrimonial richness of Bolivia. With everything you have seen during the day and the great emotions you have experienced, we will embark back to Peru and be in Puno between 14:00 and 15:00.
