TRIP FROM PUNO TO CUSCO WITH THE ROUTE OF THE SUN

Enjoy an incredible trip from Puno to Cusco through our Ruta del Sol. You will have the opportunity to visit amazing tourist places such as Pucará, Raqchi and Andahuaylillas.
To start with this tour, you will be picked up from your hotel in Puno at 06:30 AM to board the Bus that will take you through the route of the Sun, until you reach the city of Cusco. During the trip you will make different stops at amazing places that this route has prepared for you.

The first stop will be at the LITHIC MUSEUM OF PUCARÁ, which was a culture that developed long before the Incas, near the city of Puno. In this museum you will find ceramics and sculptures representing zoomorphic figures, including the famous sculpture of the HATUNÑAQAC that in our times would be translated as the supreme cutthroat. Continuing with the tour, you will arrive at EL PASO DE LA RAYA. It is the border between the cities of Cusco and Puno at more than 4335 meters above sea level where the famous snow-capped CHIMBOYA is located, from which the AMAZONAS River is born.

Halfway through you can have a break time and buffet lunch included. The buffet consists of a wide range of national and regional food, entrees, fresh vegetables, the richest desserts, and hot drinks.
Continuing with the trip, the next stop will be THE ARCHAEOLOGICAL COMPLEX OF RAQCHI. Also known as the Temple of the god WIRACOCHA, who was the supreme Inca deity, where you can find the largest number of Colcas (Granaries) and magnificent buildings in stone and adobe. To end the trip, the last stop before arriving in the city of Cusco will be the Church known as THE SISTINE CHAPEL OF THE ANDES which is located in Andahuaylillas and is important for the beauty of its murals, the works in gold leaf and the paintings of the Cusco school that houses inside.

Then you will arrive in the city of Cusco at the private bus station, and then be transferred to your respective hotel. End of services.
