This route will allow you to visit different tourist attractions on the way from the city of Cusco to Puno, make the most of your time and enjoy all your tour.
The Sistine Chapel of America is located in Andahuaylillas, it is an attraction visited for its baroque art and Renaissance works of art; however, the temple of Wiracocha in Raqchi stands out for its immense stone and adobe walls.
Itinerary:
- We start the tour leaving the bus station heading south of the city of Cusco.
- In about an hour we will arrive at Andahuaylillas to visit the church of San Pedro Apostle (Sistine Chapel of America).
- Then we will go to the archaeological site of Raqchi and continue our tour.
- Then we will go to Paso Raya, a spectacular mountain pass.
- We will visit the Pukara interpretation center to learn about the origins of the Andean civilization of the Altiplano.
- We finish the tour leaving you at the bus station in Puno.
