Itinerary
At the time you choose, we will pick you up from your hotel in Iquitos. Once on the bus, we will travel 8 kilometers following the Iquitos-Nauta highway to head to the Quistococha National Park, known for its homonymous lagoon.
Once we arrive at this natural paradise, we will get off the vehicle and enter the Amazonian thicket, where you will have the opportunity to see different specimens of local fauna, such as tapirs, ocelots or primates. In addition, you will be able to observe how paiches swim, one of the largest freshwater fish species in the world.
At the end of the walk, the magnificent Quistococha lagoon awaits us. Did you know that it has an area of 56 square kilometers? It's a real blast!
You will have free time to enjoy its surroundings, bathe in its crystal-clear waters and relax on its artificial white sand beach. The lagoon also has picnic areas and a restaurant to enjoy all the comforts.
After two and a half hours in Quistococha, we will return to Iquitos and we will drop you off at your hotels.
