Enjoy an exciting day in the Peruvian jungle, where we will learn fishing techniques and observe the diversity of local wildlife, including dolphins, monkeys, butterflies, and much more.
Itinerary:
On this excursion, we will start very early in the morning, picking everyone up at their hotels near the jiron Putumayu, Iquitos. From there, we will transfer to the city of Nauta, where we will change vehicles and board a boat that will take us down the Marañon River. Our destination will be the source of the Amazon River, at the confluence of the Marañon River and the Ucayali River.
During the trip, if we are lucky, we will be able to see gray and pink dolphins. We will also have the opportunity to swim in the river before enjoying lunch on board. After a short rest, we will observe monkeys in their natural habitat and practice fishing for piranhas or other local species.
In addition, we will admire the imposing giant trees of the jungle. After this exciting adventure, we will return to Nauta and finally return to the city of Iquitos.
