The Cañón de los Perdidos is a paradisiacal corner of the desert, ideal for those seeking both strong emotions and moments of calm. On this excursion, we will explore the great Peruvian desert.
The Cañón de los Perdidos is a dazzling desert paradise located in the province of Ica. Although it was only recently discovered in 2011 by the Association of Tourist and Cultural Promotion of Ocucaje, it already attracts numerous visitors annually in search of adventure and a quiet place to relax.
Itinerary:
Between 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m., we will pick up participants at their hotel in Ica to begin the journey south.
The first stop will be at the main square of Okukača, where you will see the famous monuments of sharks, peasants and fighting cocks. You will also have free time for breakfast.
Those who wish may visit the Okuka Museum of Palaeontology on their own.
Then we will head to the Perdido Canyon, making stops to enjoy breathtaking natural landscapes such as the Callango or Dolphin Apirals.
We will also stop at the Pampade de las Piedras to admire unique formations in the form of toads, horse heads, turtles and chihuahuas. You will also have the opportunity to photograph the iconic Magic Eye.
We will continue our journey to explore the Los Perdidos Canyon nature reserve.
After briefly learning about the process of the canyon's formation, you will have the opportunity to take pictures outside the canyon. We will also walk along the entrance of the canyon, at the confluence of the Icas and Seko rivers, where we will be able to observe local animals such as owls, chickens and lizards.
Finally, we will head to the swimming pool to take more photos and then return to Ica, arriving at approximately 15:00 to 16:00 hours
