The Vinicunca Full Day Tour, also known as the Rainbow Mountain Tour, is a popular day trip from Cusco that takes visitors to the stunning and colorful mountainside of Vinicunca.
We kick off our Vinicunca Full Day tour with a hotel pickup in the wee hours of the morning, around 4:00 am. Following this, we embark on a 3-hour drive to the trailhead situated at Quesoyuni. Setting off from there, our trek winds through charming Andean villages nestled amidst awe-inspiring landscapes. The journey to Rainbow Mountain presents a formidable challenge, spanning roughly 6 km (3.7 miles) with an elevation gain of about 500 meters (1,640 feet), culminating at an altitude of approximately 5,200 meters (17,060 feet).
