- Rise and shine! We'll whisk you away from your hotel at the crack of dawn (4:00 am!) and head to Ollantaytambo.
- All aboard the train to kilometer 104, where the real adventure begins. Get ready to hike the picturesque Inca trail, with ancient ruins and wild orchids as your trail companions.
- Time for a well-deserved picnic lunch to refuel those adventurous spirits.
- Onward we go, trekking the Short Inca trail to Machu Picchu. Prepare to be awestruck as we enter through the legendary Sun Gate, providing us with jaw-dropping sunset views over the citadel.
- Descending from the majestic heights, we'll hop on a bus to the charming town of Aguas Calientes. A delicious dinner and a cozy night's rest await.
Day 2:
- Good morning, Aguas Calientes! We'll catch our bus to Machu Picchu, ready to explore the wonders of this ancient city.
- With our knowledgeable guide by our side, get ready for a thrilling 2.5-3 hour tour inside the historical sanctuary. Brace yourself for mind-blowing revelations and secrets of Machu Picchu.
- Back to Aguas Calientes for a leisurely lunch and some downtime.
It's time to bid farewell to this magical place as we board the train back to Ollantaytambo and hop on a bus to Cusco. Memories of our epic adventure will forever stay with us.

- The area has a diverse environment and climate, so it’s important to take suitable clothes, e.g., hat, raincoat etc.
- There can be tons of mosquitos on the trail, so it might be a good idea to wear clothes that cover your skin, ideally in earthy tones, considering that black and red colors attract mosquitos more
- It’s not allowed to throw out trash in Machu Picchu area, so you will need to take everything that you have with you till you get back to Aguas Calientes
