Explore a magnificent day trekking near Ausangate Mountain, observing the wonder of Rainbow Mountain in all its splendor.
- Our adventure begins with the pick up from your hotel, approx. 4:30 hrs.
- Pick up from your hotel (historical center of Cusco).
- Then, travel in our tourist transport for a time of 2 hours 40 minutes to the town of Japurá (4200 meters above sea level).
- We will travel south in a tourist transport for a time of 3hrs to the town of Japura where we will have breakfast, and then begin with an explanation on the use of ATVs, after the explanation we will drive the ATVs to the town of Qosqopata for an average time of 1hr and 30 minutes.
- Then we will have to walk for a time of 30 minutes to the viewpoint from where we can appreciate the majestic mountain of 7 colors, upon arrival we will have enough time to take the best pictures and to enjoy the beautiful scenery.
- Once we have visited the mountain of colors we begin with the descent for 25 minutes to the place where we leave the ATVs and then head to the town of Japurá where our delicious lunch awaits us.
- After lunch, we will return to Cusco arriving approx. 18:00 approx.
