In this 1 day short Inca Trail tour, you will enjoy a hike observing the incredible landscapes of the place, the flora and fauna of the place and finally you will arrive to the wonder of Machupicchu.
Short Inca Trail 1 day
To start your 1 day Inca Trail Tour to Machu Picchu. We will pick you up at your hotel in Cusco at 3:45 a.m., or other pre-arranged time. Then, we will transfer you in a tourist transport to Ollantaytambo train station. Board your train (6:10 am) and embark on an epic journey to Km-104, the 1-day Inca Trail checkpoint.

Pass the checkpoint escorted by a professional guide authorized for Machu Picchu trekking tours. Begin enjoying your journey by visiting the mysterious archaeological site of Chachabamba, then continue along an ascending stone path until you reach Wiñaywayna, an impressive archaeological center strategically located with beautiful panoramic views. Here, take a short break to enjoy lunch and then continue hiking through the rainforest enjoying the abundance of biodiversity until you reach the highest point of the 1-day Inca Trail, the Puerta del Sol (2,720 meters).

From the Sun Gate, marvel at the breathtaking panoramic views of Machu Picchu in perfect harmony with the scenic beauty. Then descend to the guardian's house or also known as the lookout point and capture classic photos of Machu Picchu. After the tour, at 5:30 pm, take the bus to Aguas Calientes and enjoy dinner (on your own). Later, at 8:50pm, board your train back to Ollantaytambo. Upon arrival, you will be met and accompanied by our staff.
