We will pick you up at 6 am in the center of the city of Cusco and travel on board a private vehicle to the district of Sangarará. Then, take the detour to Punta Carretera, where we will have lunch starting an 8-kilometer hike to Waqrapukara.
Waqrapukara's intricate stone designs and innovative engineering marvels continue to fascinate archaeologists and cultural enthusiasts alike. It is a place where visitors can learn about indigenous history and experience the vibrant Andean culture.
Many theories and legends are associated with the ruins, adding an element of mystery and wonder to the tour. Exploring these mysteries can make the visit even more captivating. Being able to sleep right at the foot of Waqrapukara is quite special and is one of the experiences you will remember with joy. where we can enjoy watching the constellations and perform a ceremony with a shaman of the Inca culture.
At 1pm we have lunch after that we return to Cusco at 2pm.
