1 day: Tour to Machupicchu with Expedition Train

This tour offers a one-day visit to the Machu Picchu Inca citadel, accessible by a scenic four-hour train ride.
Very early, based on your chosen train service, either the Expedition Train, we will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco and transfer you to the train station. From there, you will embark on a scenic journey to the town of Aguas Calientes, situated at an altitude of 2350 meters above sea level. The train ride on either train typically lasts around 3 hours and 45 minutes.

Upon arrival at the Aguas Calientes train station, our professional tour guide will be waiting to accompany you to the bus station for the 25-minute ride up to the magnificent Machu Picchu Inca citadel, located at an altitude of 2450 meters above sea level. The guided tour of Machu Picchu will last approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes, during which you will visit key sites such as the Main Plaza, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Solar Clock, the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows, and the Cemeteries.

After the guided tour, you will have free time to further explore Machu Picchu and take photographs on your own. You will then take the bus back down to Aguas Calientes (25 minutes) at the designated time according to your return train schedule. In Aguas Calientes, you will have lunch before boarding the train back to Cusco, which takes approximately 3 hours and 45 minutes. Upon your arrival in Cusco, our staff will be waiting for you with a sign bearing your name to transfer you back to your hotel.
