From Arequipa: Day trip to the Colca Canyon

Visit the Colca Canyon and marvel at the flight of the condors, enjoy breathtaking landscapes and mountain views.
Very early we will pick you up at your hotel to leave Arequipa, after a trip of approximately 3 hours we will arrive to Chivay where we can enjoy a delicious breakfast. Already with the energies replenished by the trip and with important instructions that the guide will give us, we will continue the journey to the Mirador de la Cruz del Condor. This is a plavce where we will be able to see these birds that can measure up to three meters with their wings outstretched and observe their magnificent flight. We will stay approximately 1:30 hours and we will have the opportunity to take pictures appreciating the splendor of the Condor; female, male, young and adult condors, all explained by the guide. We continue visiting natural viewpoints and tasting the Sancayo ice cream. We will make a stop for those who wish to go into the thermal baths of Chacapi or go ziplining or hiking in the surroundings, filling themselves with the magic of the valley. This stop will last approximately 1 hour. Then we will have time for lunch. Continuing, we will take our transportation back to Arequipa, but not before stopping at attractive points along the way as the viewpoint of Patapampa, where thaws occur, plus a wonderful view of the snow-capped mountains and numerous volcanoes surrounding the city of Arequipa. We will stop in a part of the National Reserve of Salinas and Aguada Blanca to observe camelids in their different varieties and the environment that surrounds them. You can also appreciate the back of Misti, contemplating its great height and fullness of image. We finish the tour in the historic center of the city a few blocks from the Plaza de Armas. Return time approx. between 5:30 p.m. and 6:00 pm.
