Choqolaqa Stone Forest Tour, this one-day tour offers a fascinating experience in which we can observe one of the most amazing landscapes in the Arequipa region.
DAY 1: Choqolaqa Stone Forest Tour
We will begin this tour with the pick-up at the agreed meeting place at 3:00 am, passing through the towns of Imata, Condoroma and Challuta we will arrive at Tisoc and we will be closer to our destination "The Stone Forest of Choqolaqa" . This trip lasts approximately 7 hours.
Continuing with the tour, our transportation will leave us at a specific point, from this point we will start with a walk, remember that for this walk it is essential to have a good physique, since this route involves an ascent. After approximately an hour and a half we will reach our destination, the Stone Forest, a set of rock formations of natural origin that date back thousands of years.
Upon arriving at the stone forest, we will have a certain amount of time for you to explore the place and capture amazing photographs.
After exploring the place, we will return to the starting point of our walk, which takes approximately one hour. When we arrive at the place, our transportation will be waiting for us to take us back to Arequipa.
