Explore the natural wonders of the Salinas Lagoon and the Salinas y Aguada Blanca National Reserve on this day trip from Arequipa, which includes round-trip transportation. Immerse yourself in nature and enjoy a dip in the Lojen Hot Springs.
Start early with pick-up from your accommodation in Arequipa and head towards the Salinas Lagoon, making several stops along the way.
The first stop is at the Mirador de los Volcanes in Chiguata, where you can admire the impressive volcanoes of the area and capture unique photos.
Continue to the main square of Chiguata, where you can enjoy a traditional breakfast (not included) and then stop at Alto Simbral to observe the local flora.
Arriving at Laguna de Salinas, you will spend 1 to 1.5 hours exploring and observing flamingos and breathtaking landscapes, surrounded by the Misti, Ubinas and Pichu Pichu volcanoes.
Afterwards, head to the Lojen hot springs and enjoy a relaxing bath (fees not included).
After relaxing in the hot springs, return to Chiguata for lunch (not included) before heading back to Arequipa, arriving in the evening near the Plaza de Armas.
