Arequipa: Pillones Waterfalls and Stone Forest |Full day|

Enjoy a nature adventure visiting the Pillones waterfall and Stone Forest.
6:00 a.m. to 6:30 a.m. – We pick up from hotels that are located in the center of Arequipa.
Our first stop will be in the town of Pampa de Arrieros where formerly it was the entrance to the white city for people arriving on board the train.
Then we head towards Patahuasi to drink the traditional Coca Tea, inevitable to avoid altitude sickness. (breakfast)
Then we go to the Stone Forest of Puruña, where we´ll start the walk for 40 minutes approx; there we can appreciate the Stone Forest, a natural place with strange rock formations and stone columns.
In about an hour we´ll be arriving at the Pillones Waterfall, a magnificent place of connection with nature. We´ll start the descent to reach the waterfall in 20 minutes approx; when we arrive at the place we´ll observe the incredible waterfalls of this impressive waterfall; in the place you´ll have time to take pictures and enjoy this incredible landscape that surrounds it. We can also observe molded rocks produced by water erosion.
Lunch (Patahuasi).
Finally, after having enjoyed this wonderful landscape we´ll start our way back to the city.
05.30 p.m. – We´ll arrive in the city of Arequipa, and we´ll leave you near the main Square.
