Day 1: Arequipa - Misti Volcano
We will pick you up at your hotel in Arequipa between 7:30 and 8:00 am and drive in an all-terrain vehicle to Misti Volcano, taking the Chiguata route. After a two hour drive, we will reach an altitude of 3300 m. Are you ready for the adventure? We will then begin the ascent on foot up the slope of the volcano, enjoying the breathtaking views as we make our way to the base camp, located at 4800 metres, after six hours of hiking. There we will have dinner and rest for the next day.
Day 2: Misti Volcano - Arequipa
After an early but energizing breakfast of tortillas, toast and a hot drink, we will begin the ascent to the summit of Misti Volcano. The hike will be long until you reach 5825 metres. Once at the summit, you will have an hour to take impressive photos from the crater, sure to be the envy of everyone! Then, we will start the descent to 3300 meters, where the all terrain vehicle will be waiting to take us back to Arequipa. We estimate to arrive at your hotels around 14:00 hours. Accommodation The excursion includes one night's accommodation with breakfast at a base camp.
