This adventure will explore the beauty of the Huascaran National Park, walking along the María Josefa trail until we reach the dazzling turquoise lagoon of Laguna Chinancocha.
-We will start with the pick up from your hotel in Huaraz around 9:00 a.m.
-We will head north through the Callejón de Huaylas, which lies between the Cordillera Blanca and the Cordillera Negra, until we reach the Huascarán National Park.
-On the way, we will pass through several Andean villages and enjoy breathtaking landscapes. We will arrive at the Llanganuco ravine and the Chinancocha Lagoon, from where we will begin a hike of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes along the María Josefa trail, known for its quenual forests.
-You will have a brief free time to explore the area and have lunch on your own.
-Afterwards, we will visit the Campo Santo de Yungay before returning to Huaraz.
-Arrival in Huaraz is scheduled for 18:30 p.m. approximately.
